Let the Xtina-Gaga rivalry rumors continue as Christina Aguilera has postponed her summer tour and will not visit Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach on August 7. The current plan is to slide the dates to 2011 and to promote Bionic, in stores June 4, at that point. “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible,” a statement reads. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
Meanwhile, Crossfade reports that U2’s Miami stop at Sun Life Stadium on July 9 is off following Bono’s emergency back surgery on Friday. All parties involved say that the shows will be rescheduled soon, and already-purchased tickets will apply once new dates are announced.
