On Jan.10 the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood will unveil “A Fresh Start,” an exhibition showcasing 2-D work by student artists in grades 6-8 at Parkway Middle School of the Arts. Under the direction of instructors Linda Dimeo and Laura Bajec, the students explored a variety of 20th century artists and their concepts. The students’ artwork reflects a rich and colorful interpretation of these artists’ methods. This artwork will be shown in the Center’s Student Gallery, located at 1650 Harrison St., through Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. An artists’ reception will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.
