Cold Stone Creamery is handing out free three-ounce “Sprinkled With Wishes” ice creams today to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation as part of its nationwide Ice Cream Social event.
From 5 to 8 p.m., claim your free ice cream sundae, made with sweet cream
ice cream, brownie, fudge and rainbow sprinkles. Then dig deep into
your pocket and make a donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
All
proceeds raised in South Florida stores go directly to the South
Florida chapter of this organization, which helps children with
life-threatening illnesses forget about their sickness for a while by
providing them with wish adventures like shopping sprees, celebrity meet-and-greets, and trips to Disney World.
Make-a-Wish
receives no federal or state funding and raises money to grant wishes
through corporate sponsorships, special events, foundation grants, and
individual contributions. The Southern Florida chapter grants a wish
every 16 hours, every day of the year, at an average cost of $5,000.
The ice cream social offer is available at all Cold Stone Creamery locations today from 5 to 8 p.m.
