City Limits, besides snagging Bad Brains, has also grabbed blog darlings Tokyo Police Club to play the same weekend the band would have played Langerado. Unfortunately, the show goes up against two others that night that attract similar fans: Girl Talk and Deerhunter at Culture Room, and Modest Mouse at Revolution.
Still, those latter two are destined to be packed to the gills, so those wishing to avoid sweaty crowds will dig the comfortable, super-clean environment that is City Limits. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, February 11 at 10 a.m. through City Limits’ web site. They cost $15 in advance, $17 day of show. All ages are welcome to this early-evening show — doors open at 7 p.m.
