Last week, the festival-going public commenced drooling for perhaps the only decent summer music gathering by announcing the dates — July 15 through 17 at Chicago’s Union Park — for the Pitchfork Music Festival. Today, the initial lineup is unfurled for all to see and critique.

At $110 for a three-day pass, this is no budget breaker. Sure, the Strokes aren’t playing it, but mid-July is an awful time of year to wear skinny jeans anyhow. Check out the bands announced so far broken up by day.
