At the moment, it’s coming in from England like it’s dial-up, but at some point today, it’ll likely be possible to stream TV on the Radio’s new album, Nine Types of Light, at the Guardian‘s website.

The description here suggests that this record is “more relaxed” than Dear Science and attributes that fact to the steady stream of barbecue and Ping-Pong going on during recording. We already like “Will Do,” but apparently “The classic TVOTR sound is still here — cosmic soul, falsetto,

shards of guitar — but the mood is mellower, and they’re not scared to

tackle the humble love song.”

This sucker is still not loading, so on to the comments. “New Cannonball

Blues” sounds like a winner. And one reader says this is “immense.”

Commenter zigzagzig isn’t impressed: “Van Hunt does this better than

anyone and has been doing it longer… and this isn’t cosmic soul white
